View Full Version : Prayer for Rev James (Jack) Chessor....
Bro James (Known in his local area as Jack) Chessor was airlifted to the hospital in Jackson TN this afternoon. He had another stroke. Prayer would be greatly appreciated.
Update:
The first call we received today, the report was that he'd had a massive stroke and had been airlifted.
The second call we received, was that he was undergoing testing, and was alert and talking a little.
Please continue to pray. God can bring him through this with no evidence of even having a stroke. He did it for my husband.....

Lord God,
We humbly ask that You would look upon this dear brother. You can
bring Bro. Jack Chessor through this with no evidence of having had a
stroke. Lord, You did it for my mother and the therapists confirmed it!
In Jesus Name we pray.

Another update...
According to the report that I got this morning, all the tests done yesterday show no evidence of him having a stroke. They will be doing some tests today to check out his heart, and if all these tests are okay, he will be released from the hospital this evening.
God answers prayer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My parents spoke with Sis Chessor this morning.
She said that yesterday Bro Chessor had been sitting at the dining room table, and said to her that he didn't feel good. She asked him if he wanted to go lie down for a while, or get into the recliner-- he said he didn't feel like getting up. Then he went into a "dazed state" (her words, not mine) and was unable to speak to her. She felt that he didn't know her. She called 911, and when the paramedics arrived, he couldn't respond to them either. They thought he'd had a massive stroke, and transported him 7 miles to Middleton where they could land the Medvac. He was airlifted to Jackson at that time.
He was placed immediately upon several prayer chains.
Today, there is no sign of any stroke. All tests are coming back with good results.
She said they are doing one more test on the arteries in his neck today, and if all is well, they will release him to go home.
I know God moved in this situation.

To GOD be all the praise, honour and glory!!!
Sis. Tina,
This isn't the first time we have seen God work a miracle in
extreme cases, is it! Remember Scott, teacher with children,
who the family was told to prepare the children for their dad's
death. But they didn't prepare the children but instead asked
for prayer for this dad and GOD raised him up!! Others also!!
Have you heard from him lately? The last time you updated, he
was doing well.
To God be the praise, honour and glory. He is doing great things
and will continue to do so. In Jesus Name!
Blessings,
