of being Pentecostal today!:hypercoffee I went to lunch with a couple ladies from my job and a representative of the company from out of state. We talked a bit and she said she guessed I was Pentecostal...I asked her why she would think that...she said, "You have long hair and are wearing a skirt".:sshhh

Bluejean? Skirt, I mean. Not the hair. :D
Anyway, you are a beautiful lady, no matter what kind of skirt you are wearing.

Could this the beginning of a standards thread? :D
You are a very sweet and beautiful lady even if you were to wear pants. But, you know how the Lord feels about women wearing men's clothing?

Angel,
Your wings are not clipped. Don't be sad. The Lord loves you and I do too. Be of good cheer. Your wings are in tact. You can fly and drive too... :driving

I attend a moderate to liberal [non-UPCI] church in Texas, but I loved my conservative UPCI church in Florida. And YES, I am Pentecostal Apostolic!:sshhh

I don't wear long blue jean skirts, nor do I have long hair, I guess that is why people don't ask me if I am a Pentecostal!:hypercoffee

Great! You Pentecostal woman!
Sister Rhoni,
This thread is a wonderful testimony as to the benefits of "holiness" for Pentecostal women.
Just think. If you had not had long hair and that jean skirt on they would have never known. (or of course if you had been a man).

No, a Jew did. Levi Strauss. :D
What is the origin of blue jeans?
In 1860, peddler Levi Strauss (1829-1902) arrived in San Francisco with bales of canvas cloth he intended to use to make tents and wagon coverings. When gold rush prospectors and miners complained that their ordinary trousers wore out too quickly, Strauss contracted with a local tailor to make overalls from the canvas.
I thought you were in Florida once. How long ago was that?EB, You are WAY behind the times. Rhoni has been in the Dallas area for quite awhile now.
