BAPTISTS, CATHOLICS DRAFT DRESS CODE

Door fashion editor Chris Mikesell reports:
In an uncommon display of ecumenical solidarity, Southern Baptist and Roman Catholic church leaders have united to propose a dress code aimed at keeping their clergy out of trouble.
"First, we're not calling it a dress code," says Dupont Wexler, board member of Baptists USA!, an organization that supports and lobbies on behalf of Southern Baptists. "Wearing dresses is part of the problem we're seeking to address."
The "apparel guidelines," as Wexler calls them, specify clothing appropriate for all situations – from formal wear at weddings to track suits for jogging to bathing suits for visits to the ocean, lake, or pool. (In a special section for Southern Baptist ministers, bathing suits are also recommended for actual bathing ... not, of course, with members of the opposite sex.) Speedos, however, are deemed "never appropriate."
A full list of the Baptist-Catholic "attire guidelines" will be released to the press in the near future.

lol....I hope they don't mean for women to dress like catholic school girls. They might be plaid or some other colored uniforms but a lot of the girls I see from the local catholic school dress quite provocative in their short short skirt and their tops. It's sad when people think they can conform to a code and then find loopholes to defeat the purpose of such a code. I think this is the problem with having a form of holiness and not truly having it in the heart
