Please pray for my mother she was picked as a juror on a high profile case that will last for six to eight weeks. Although that might be exciting to some two months or longer without a pay check is going to put a strain on my parents. I know God has her there for a reason and will protect and bless them. Still it never hurts to have extra prayer on your side.

My job pays regular pay but we have to turn the jury duty pay over to them. Are you sure she has to go without pay?

Yeah where she works just got taken over by another company and she was switched from Salary back to hourly. That has worked out to be a blessing as she ends up getting paid for. At the moment though she doesn't have the benefits as she did on Salary. So she will be without pay and only getting the 40 dollars a day that all the Jurors are paid.
