I need prayer. Ive got a staff infection that is just making me miserable. Sunday night while in La. my wrist felt like I got a bug bite. thru the day monday and tuesday it just got worse and worse.

Wed. I went to the Dr.

Got two shots and 2 antibiotics and an appointment for Friday (today)

Dr. said it he didnt like the way it looked he would put me in the hospital.

Today he said it was better BUT "you arent out of the woods yet."

My arm has fever, most of the swelling is gone but ive got a knot on my wrist the size of an eyeball. AND it HURTS.

while the swelling is gone, the wound looks quite a bit worse tonight.

Please pray this thing is nasty and I havent slept in 2 nights from the pain.

I remember not that long ago-- people here prayed for my cousin's husband Scott who was in the hospital fighting for his life with a staph infection. God delivered him-- after the doctors had given up hope, and told his wife to go home and prepare the children, because their dad wasn't going to make it.

I love hearing victory reports of how God takes these things and turns them around.

I'm praying for you... and looking forward to your victory report.

Lord God,

We come to Your Throne of mercy on behalf of Bro. Ferd tonight,

You see this situation with his arm and we humbly ask that You

would touch it and make him whole, in the name of Jesus. We

thank You, O Lord for what You will do for our brother, Ferd!

We thank You for the rest You will give him, in Jesus Name!!

Sis. Tina,

I well remember your request for your cousin's husband, Scott. When

men (physicans) have done all they are able to do, then God takes over

and does what man cannot. All praise, glory and honour to our Lord and

God, Jesus Christ. He is great and greatly to be praised. He is able to do

much more than we can possibly think or ask, according to the power

that worketh in us.

From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same, the NAME

of THE LORD IS TO BE PRAISED!!!

Blessings,

Falla39

Ferd,

I am praying for you. Be very diligent and aggressive in your treatment of this condition!

I have MSRA which is a form of antibiotic resistant staph that is always lurking in the blood stream. It isn't bad enough that it shows up on the blood work but it is bad enough that it attacks every wound or bite that I get. Sometimes it seems to accumulate to the point that it has to show up and show out and I end up with several of the "eye ball" sized knots that you have referred to across an entire area of my body... usually legs or hips... sometimes arms or chest. Mine usually DO NOT go away so I have two reasons to be called lumpy... my fat and staph knots.

The real danger is that the ever present staph can be destroying organs without really being noticable on the surface. I petition the Lord daily for deliverance from this dread bacteria.
