Boy, I have been away for a few days and I just came back to the forum today
and read of a few prayer requests that are very serious needs.

I was just getting ready to leave work last Thursday and was getting ready to go down the stairs from the second floor to the warehouse floor, it is a steep stairway with about 40 steps in it.
The stairway has metal edges on the steps and my left foot slipped off of the first step and I was started slipping the whole length of the stairwell.
The thing is my right foot & leg decided to stay on the first step and I ended up
dislocating my ankle & fracturing my right Tib-Fib above my ankle.
I started to straighten my leg out and saw that it was at a weird angle and the pain was tremendous. They were surprised that the bone wasn't sticking out the side.

I took an ambulance ride to the hospital where they put me on an IV and took some X-rays. My co worker called my wife and she thought it was a prank call.

The doctor said that he needed to "Set" my leg under "conscious sedation"
they closed the curtain and started to administer a drug tha would place me under sedation but still awake.
I thought I was having a bad acid trip, funky purple rooms, weird sensations.
He said I almost came off the bed when he yanked my leg and ankle in place as I screamed ouch and Jesus!
It wore off after about ten minutes, good thing was I saw my wife standing beside the bed holding my hand.

I was hooked up to morphine and was allowed 3 mg every 15 minutes if I needed it-I did.
I finally got into the OR Sat morning where they put me under and cut my leg open and put a plate and screws into my leg.
I am splinted up and on bed rest for two weeks where after the swelling goes down I will be put into a cast for two months.

Thing is on Wednesday at family prayer I said that the Apostle stated that we through much tribulation must enter the Kingdom!

Woo Hoo! I through the grace of God was able to say Thank you Jesus!

Could you all say a prayer that God will help the healing process along and that perhaps there would be no complications?

I also stated that perhaps now that I am laid up for a while, God may want to speak to me-pray I am open.

I appreciate you all very much and appreciate your prayers.

Woa, Morphines great when you need it, iI am on Oxy Codin!:hypercoffee

Ron,

I feel your pain, brother!! I broke my right ankle about 14 years ago. The porch swing that I was sitting on fell and crashed on my leg that was under the swing. Broke my leg and ankle in 5 places and also broke the back of my heal OFF.

I'll be praying for you. You've got my word on it!!

May the Lord bring swift and complete healing to you Bro. Ron. I am nursing a pulled hamstring and with the pain I have endured with it, I cannot imagine the pain that you are dealing with. Take good care of that leg cause you will need it the rest of your life!!
