Hey BOOM! They make a hack that allows your users to ignore threads (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=127487&highlight=Ignore+Thread).

I nominate this one as the next hack for AFF. :heeheehee

I liked the collapsable posts, but it was very short lived (less than a day)

Made it much easier to read a thread where huge requoting was posted.

There's an avatar on another forum I go to that's worse than that one. It's this purple hippo doing some kind of dance. I'm not really sure how to describe it. But believe me, if this person was using that hippo avatar-- we'd all LOVE to have Elmo in it's place. :heeheehee

The ignore thing is just a formality...a statement if you would. You can read the posts of those on ignore, and continue to ignore them or respond:heeheehee

Even when you have someone on IGNORE you can read what they've written if they've been quoted by someone else.

NOT gonna do that.:tease But if you are really ignoring them then you are ignoring them not reading and answering them.Well, I know who you're referring to of course and I know that you were on Ignore for a fairly long period of time .... I know that he did not answer all your posts ..... and I know that he responded to posts where you were quoted......not to you directly but in regard to the topic being discussed. So there ya go bro. :drawguns

Regardless, I appreciate you and your involvement on these forums although I certainly don't agree with you on some things. :)

I have often wondered if there is a thread killer hack out there. Since so many people will, from time to time, tout themselves as the thread killer... is there a script out there that will track how many threads any given person is the last poster in?

Good question.

I haven't seen one yet, but I'm sure someone will come up with one.

It would need to only work on more than 4 posts in a thread.

We have a lot of one post dead threads now already.

Yeah... a setting for a minimum number of posts would be a good function to have.
