I was wondering how many UCs are Republicans and how many have left the party because you don't like the direction it has taken or you don't agree with everything....how can two walk together least they agree I was told.

They are all Ron Paul supporters now and if he doesn't get the nomination they are OUT!!!

(and since he has as much chance of winning the Republican nomination as I do they are OUT)

You and me both. One of the brightest politicians alive. The only problem was his weakness toward Isreal. I voted for him and would again. NAFTA has made him a prophet.

Good question Praxeas! It's like the actor ( oops, sorry, entertainment related issue ) Alec Baldwin who stated that if George W. Bush was elected he was moving to France. Instead, he stayed in the U.S. and calls his daughter slurious names on his cell phone! It's all related, those that are mad about these changes can stay and slur the "liberals", or they can continue making a positive change for the church. The choice is theirs!

Thats easy for me to answer, I don't like the republican party. Her's the difference for me however, I have too many loved ones in the UPC (not in the republican party), I have given more to this Org than I have for the republican party, I give more credence to the org than I do the republican party. Having said all that, I guess the question really doesn't apply to me. LOL! Carry on Prax.:D;)

Are you a Republican? If so will you be leaving them because you disagree with how they are going? I mean, is it a matter or principle? Why remain a Repugnantan? I mean Republican :hypercoffee

I'm sorry, I should've clarified. Yes, I was a republican, but I really haven't supported them with finances or time to care enough about them. I have a hard time trusting any politician because they are always caught in some scam or lewd behavior in the bathroom. Forgive me for feeling this way, but it is kind of difficult to support anyone nowadays, especially with the coming of the Lord. I would rather devote my time supporting church matters and trying to win the lost, than devoting a vote to a scandalous lying politician anymore.

BTW, I want to add one more thing Prax. I also want to apologize for reading into your question, I just thought that with the passing of resolution #4, that this question was somehow tied into the subject of whether or not UC's would continue to support the UPC. Sorry.:o;)

After re-reading the origanal question, I see that I didn't answer with full clarity and that I was too vague. I apologize for jumping to conclusions about your response to my answer to Prax. I sincerely apologize.:o:D
