Sis. ILG,

Just want you to know I have been praying for you and your

husband since I read about this. May the Lord God keep His

Marvelous Hand upon your husband all through this difficult

time, in Jesus Name! And may He give you peace and comfort.

Hi everybody. Thank you for the prayers. I have felt peace all day and I know your prayers make a difference.

Well, he came through surgery well. The doctor said they think they got it all and it didn't look like it had spread. Surprisingly, they send people home the same day of this surgery. They almost kept my husband overnight because he kept throwing up. The nurse called the Dr. and he said he could go home. We just got home and my husband is in bed sleeping. Please continue the prayers. He goes back to the Dr. Friday to find out the pathology report, exactly what type of cancer it is and what options the future holds as far as chemo, and radiation.

Thank you all for the prayers. It really does make a difference. He slept well last night even though all he had was ibuprophen. He kept throwing up the pain meds they gave him and they kept giving him more and more anti-nasuea medication. Nothing was working. But they let me take him home anyway and he didn't even wake up in the middle of the night for more ibuprophen. He did have some this morning. He is resting comfortably and watching the whole trilogy of Lord of the Rings today, something he's wanted to do for a couple of years. I am studying like mad, trying to get all the nutritional stuff to support his healing.....something we have believed in for years so I have a pretty good basis for understanding already. I have Dr. Patrick Quillin's book Healing Cancer with Nutrition. He was a part of Cancer Treatment Centers of America. There they use both conventional and nutritional therapies. My husband was rejected to go there because of our insurance. So, I am reading his book and ordering all this stuff. I'm going to take it too, I suspect we have both been run down over the years.

My husband has no known risks for cancer. And yet he has had it twice.
