See my last post in the thread for the update! Prayer was answered!!

~~~~~~~~~~
This is a prayer request for my daughter, Samantha.
She accepted a part time job a couple of weeks ago-- and was promised that she'd only have to work every third Sunday to rotate with the other girls who worked in the deli. They have made her work the last two Sundays. :(
Samantha is very active in church, and a vital participant in our Children's ministry. They have her in training to be a Sunday School teacher-- since she seems to have a calling to work in that area. She also helps out a great deal with the Young at Heart ministry. It is breaking her heart to have to miss any church services--- and my heart is breaking for her. She can't afford to just quit this job because of her car payment and insurance.
She did receive a phone call yesterday from the Employment Service where she applied for work long before accepting this part time position. She has an appointment Friday morning at 7am to go for a preemployment testing that could very well be the answer to my prayers.
I have been praying that she would be able to get a better job with hours that wouldn't cause her to have to miss church. At this place, the pay would be 4 times what she is making at her current job--and she would also have a great medical/dental/vision plan and a few other benefits once she'd been there for 90 days.
This place is also supportive of continuing education. She wants to work long enough to pay off her car-- and put money into savings so that she is able to attend college and not have to work full time during the time she is attending classes. This job would make that possible for her. I believe that God can and will work out this situation for her. Prayers are greatly appreciated.
Do you have a Hobby Lobby in your area? They are publically proclaimed christian based and closed on Sundays.
I believe that the Bible says that God will make a way where there seems to be no way. Consider it made!
Sorry Trouvere! This struck me as funny, but you would have to understand where Tina lives to appreciate the humor in that question.
Tina, I'll be praying for Samantha. Do me a favor. Both my girls have job interviews this week. Say a prayer for them, while you're praying for yours.
Thank you everyone for the prayers.
I wish. :D The nearest place to shop at any store is 30 miles away. I live in the middle of nowhere.
Tamor can tell ya... she was real close to my house a couple of nights ago. I tried to tell her there are houses here for sale.... but she didn't seem real excited about that. ;)
You got it.
She passed the pre-employment testing. She also had an interview.
There are a few day shift openings, and they are doing some major hiring on the second shift. PLEASE pray that she will be able to get one of the day shift positions. If she could do that, she wouldn't have to miss ANY church services.
Thanks for the prayers...
