I'm looking for sheet music for this song. The hymn book that my brother found it in years ago went missing somehow. It was appropriately on page 1 of the hymn book. The lyrics go like this:





I love to tell how Jesus saved my soul
When I was lost and facing dark despair

The dearest friend that I have ever known

I just wanted the sheet music - for a friend who only plays by music and not by ear. (I can transpose the key if need be)

I used to play only by music until I started attending a VERY small UPC church...no one there could read music and they were lucky to tell me what key it was in!!! Best thing that ever happened to me, musically. I play that song in G flat if I'm feeling frisky and G if I'm feeling a little lazier :D

Hi All you marvelous people who've been looking into this song for me.

Besides emailing me a copy of it, Mrs BOOMM let me know what hymn book it is in..... I have since looked for that hymn book online - found copies of it
AND that site also showed the index of the hymn books - so I was sure to
have the right book. I have since ordered 2 of them (one for me - one for my bro)

I couldn't have done it without all of you. xoxox I've been singing
the song since I saw my brother this past weekend.... there definitely is a
message in all of this as well as the song itself. I thank you again.
