Isn't Russia, Turkey, and Iran all mentioned somewhere in the Bible in correlation with this battle?
US relations aren't good with these guys of late. Any thoughts?:usa:usa:usa:clock:preach:praying:att:fer al:airplane
well, our relationship with Turkey would be fine if the idiot democrats in congress would shut up.
iran needs a good invasion and Russia is what it is.

See Ezekiel 38-39
Scholars say Gog and Magog is Russia. The house of Togarmeh is supposed to be an ancient name for Turkey. We know for sure I ran was called Persia until the 20'th century.
The Western nations are said to be the "young lions". The timing of the battle is debated. Before or at the end of the trib? At the end of the 1000 year reign?
Is Russia and Turkey supposed to be on the same side?
cuz they pretty much hate each other.

It is generally taught that Turkey will break with America and side with Russia and Iran. Thats the way I was taught long ago. Not real dogmatic about it other than I believe generally that scenario will play out.

Complicating our understanding is that the current ethnic "Turks" of Turkey today, were living in Central Asia all the way up until the early 11th Century. At the time of Ezekiel and even later when Revelation was written they were nomads in what is today Kazakhstan.
The peoples of the Bible time who lived in modern day Turkey were ethnically diverse: Greeks throughout Western Asia Minor, Lydians and Cappadocians on the Anatolian Plateau and newly arrived Celts in Galatia.
So why would we think "Togarmeh" is today's Turkey?
