I got a call last night that my second Mom, (she raised me until I was 6) literally died around noon and they revived her.
We planned to spend Thanksgiving with them. I pray God will heal her and that most importantly save her soul.

Thanks for all your prayers. We lost Mom Sunday morning at 11:10 am.
I was by her bedside when she passed. It was not an easy passing as she apparently had a fatal heart attack.
She had been in a semi-coma not able to open her eyes or respond. About 15-20 minutes before passing she opened her eyes and begged for help, saying hurry, please help me. There was nothing we could do.
It was not easy to see and all her immediate family was there around her bed.
She was 80 and had a lung disease as well from smoking many years. I prayed many years for her salvation. All I can say is she is in a just and merciful God's hands.
Esther, I am so sorry for your loss. I will be remembering the family in prayer.

Sis. Esther,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I had not seen this until just now.
May God comfort your heart and give you peace, in Jesus Name!

Thank you Tina and Sis Falla.
We drove from Houston to Pineville Saturday arriving at midnight. Stayed up pass 2:00am. Got back up at 6:00 am. Stayed with her until she passed at 11:10.
She opened her eyes about 20 minutes before she passed in a lot of pain.
Then we drove Monday morning to Ferriday which is a little over an hour drive. Made the arrangements there, then drove another hour to New Era, La to mark the grave site.
Got back to Pineville with about a two hour rest to dress and drive back to Ferriday for the viewing. Then back that night around 9 pm. The only food brought in was fried chicken.
Got up the next day and cooked breakfast for everyone and had a couple of hours to get ready to drive back to Ferriday for the 2pm services. Drove another hour to the cemetary had services then drove down to the Baptist church where they had about 5 cakes and some cold cuts and one loaf of bread. Coffee and soft drinks. It was getting cold.
Folks don't take for granted your church family that comes in at a time like this with food for everyone. This family unfortunately did not go to any church. Most of their friends have already passted as they were 80 years old. All their siblings haved passed and only have nieces and nephews left besides their one daughter and myself who they call daughter.
