I just saw that Royalwood (UPC) is open for shelter, but their power is our. They currently have 80 people.

Some nearby schools and churches are open for shelter. Some fast food businesses are open. CFA nearby is going to deliver food to some of the shelters.

What possesses people to live in places like this or New Orleans?

I mean, give me good ol dry climate, no floods, a few mormons to deal with and everything is ok!

I am joking of course, this is a horrible mess.

There is a website that has a TON of live videos of the flooding going on over the entire hurricane area, if anyone is interested in watching.
