Aren't you the 'originator' of "Just In Case"?

I remember one time Bro Murrell Ewing was in our district preaching a meeting. He sang before he preached on The Love Of God. He started singing Jesus Love Me, and the place just melted. God's presence filled that house in such an awesome way. That was over 20 years ago and I can remember it like it was yesterday.

I sat in Bro. Ewing's home recently with several other preachers. Out of nowhere the Bishop Ewing started in singing, "Where Did The Wind Go?"

The prayer meeting lasted almost an hour.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....

I still write songs from time to time but just don't sing much anymore. My voice, after the surgery, simply can't find the range it once had.:shhh

What was the song of yours the Trimbles 'borrowed'?

I love the song "I See A Crimson Stream of Blood." Every time I hear it I can picture GT Haywood writing those words after a powerful time in prayer. ...May we never 'replace' these old hymns!!

There is something about the old hymns that we don't find in the newer stuff.
