There are stories in the Bible of people it seemed were past God's line...yet He forgave and they followed....people that made HUGE mistakes...that no doubt I would have harshly judged...yet God saw and sees the heart...so time tells a lot of stories....we humans are often fools....we run our mouths too much....

Sister, you are probably the wisest woman on this forum. You've probably seen more in your lifetime of serving in a foreign country than any of us will in a lifetime. I did love Sister Nona Freeman telling us about miracles that she witnessed and I love them every one.

He that is without sin, cast the first stone. :throwrock

If paganism is shared here, I would say no acceptance.

Re: I ask you to accept me

John A., I am seriously fearful for you. This verse comes to mind about those who came into the church in the first century, received the Holy Ghost and walked away from Jesus altogether.

Heb 6:4-6 KJV For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, (5) And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, (6) If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

That is not talking about someone who hardly touched the church and never really had a Spirit infilling. So I am concerned.

Heb 10:29 KJV Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

I say this not out of anger or a mean spirit. It's just the Word.

John, really stop and think about those verses. I implore you to reconsider. If there is any touch of the Lord still in your heart, reach out to Him. We are here to help!

Thank you, Elder!

Though JA and I do not know each other personally, we 'know' each other through the forums. My heart has been heavy since I first read his post Saturday night.

This is not the man of faith who stood strong.

Your remain in my prayers, Bro. John...

On the other hand when someone says they found no peace or fulfillment in Christ they probably were never saved. In such cases there is still hope.

Those who once knew the depth of Christs glory, the gifts of the spirit and the word of truth IF THEY shall fall away it would be impossible to renew THEM to repentance.

They had all

Right.

Anyone who didn't understand the enormity of Hebrews 6 and 10 would not fit into the category that could never be restored. They did not have a full understanding of truth.
