That means God must have known that His creation would fall into sin and that the vast majority wouldn't follow the way He set before Him. For God to say, "It is good.", with this kind of foreknowledge and perspective obviously God saw His full intention and the ultimate destiny of creation coming to fruition. How could an all knowing God say, "It is good.", when 90% or more of His creation will be lost??? Sounds strange doesn't it? What if God had the universal reconciliation of His creation in mind? What if God knew that He would incarnate Himself in Christ Jesus and die for ALL that all might ultimately be reconciled to Him? Then it would make sense for God to say, "It is good.".

Now, considering that God has a plan, we see His creation fall into sin. God suffers the sinfulness of mankind, only to chastise humanity at times with temporal judgments when sin reaches it's zenith. Again, God knowing His redemptive plan. Now, you have sinful nations trying to destroy the nation from which God will bring the Messiah. In a sense, these are waring against their own salvation. So God brings temporal judgment upon them by ordering ancient Israel to slay them. Remember, with UR even these souls are ultimately going to be reconciled through the blood of Christ. God's destroying these nations essentially guaranteed their salvation. For had they destroyed the Jewish nation the Messiah wouldn't have been born and ALL would be eternally alienated from God. The ultimate plan of creation's redemption had to be protected. Even if it took such drastic action to do so. In the eternity future it will serve to even reconcile Israel's enemies, the very one's who were put to the sword. UR would demonstrate that though brutal, God was essentially saving them from themselves.

Would that not illustrate how God is "just" even when taking such extreme measures?

Hebrew 12:2, seems to support the idea that Jesus was looking beyond the pain and sadness of this life for the joy in the future salvation of all.

Hebrews 12:2
looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hey, CJ why aren't demons and Satan allowed to return to heaven with the universalist teaching. Wouldn't that be consistent with the teaching?

Also pray for me, I have to change out the starter in my Lincoln Town Car, and it is one of the hardest starters in the world to change out. My driveway is gravel and laying on rocks and changing that nightmare is hard. With the teaching of Inclusion, why doesn't God make changing a starter on the 1998-2002 Lincoln Town Car easier? Who cares if Hitler goes to heaven, he was a drip, and no one wants him in heaven anyway. I care if a starter has a hidden bolt at the top of it and you can't reach it.

God wants you to experience the pain of changing that starter so that you can appreciate heaven, and His glory. And it is penance for driving a gas guzzler and contributing to global warming. LOL

Satan and demons are not human, may not have a soul, so we'll just focus on those that are created in HIS image.

Once Hitler gets worked over in the Refiner's fire your gonna love him, he will serve in heaven like no one else because those who are forgiven much love the greater.

At least in Florida it is not 107 degrees and you'll be in the shade under that car. lol

But why did God allow the Ford Motor Company to place the top bolt in such an awkward position? If Hitler is going to heaven, then why is that bolt in such a tight place? I mean the ratchet can only move only a fraction of a turn, and if I don't break that bolt loose right away I'm sunk. Yet, Hitler and Savitri Devi will be cursing and shaking their fists at God, because they were forced to go to heaven. Alas, me a faithful follower, must crawl under the Lincoln and try to crack the top mounting bolt loose.

I see, God doesn't force anyone now, but he beats the snot out of us later, so we will love Him. Sounds like individuals I use to know, they would beat their wives and then tell them that they were sorry, and that they loved them. For some reason it didn't work as well as the Refiners Fire you speak of.

Wow, 107! Is it that hot in Texas this Summer?

If it got that hot down here, under the car is like being in a steam room.

Love you

Bear in mind that, unlike Hitler, none of us here have the power of a modern state at our disposal, so the amount of harm we can do is in that sense limited by the grace of God.

If we get angry with someone in this forum, for example, we might say something nasty, but we are in no position to send the Gestapo after the person who offends us. Nor are we in a position, such as Hitler was, where our own weaknesses and prejudices can easily be transformed into political terror. The same weaknesses and prejudices may in fact be there, but we do not have available to us the same means of expressing them that Hitler had available to him.

"Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely," said Lord Acton. But few of us have experienced even the temptations of political power, much less the temptations of "absolute" tyrannical power.

So how many here are utterly confident that in Hitler's precise circumstances you would have come off any better than he did?

Just wondering.

We are all born with the ability to be Hitler, It is not who you are born it is how you live!

Agreed, but all are born with different circumstances that effective who we are and how we live.

My point is not so much about Hitler, rather about individual opportunity and possibility.

We tend to look at the world thru our context and judge all folks by what we know and who we are, that doesn't work for the masses of humanity.
