This is an extremely over the line accusatory remark to MOW! :thwak

Really?? Hmm......Well, God bless her! :lol I'm gonna go look up some support group resources to help ManofWord with his "problem."

This reminds me of a conversation I had with a co-worker the other day. She is always quite difficult. Anyway, I said " It's hard to know sometimes how much to let go when your kids get to a certain age isn't it?" She said "I don't know. We raised my daughter better than that. She knows right from wrong." I didn't say anything but got busy real quick!! Then, to recover herself, she said something just as obnoxious! (Can't even remember what. I blocked it out by now!)

I told this to my husband and he said it's like being asked "Did you stop beating your wife yet?"

There is no right answer.

However, on the flip-side, I found MOW's comment a bit off color....

Hey, he said he was wanting to look at pictures of a "nekkid lady." I'm just wanting to help. :D

I attempted to address it in a humorous way, but I totally agree with you. But of course, I get blasted by "Pressing On" for being "accusatory."

Whatever. :christmasjig

I would choose #2 at my own peril! LOL

You may have your own, "I would rather....."

Obscene stories, foolish talk, and coarse jokes–these are not for you. Instead, let there be thankfulness for God. Ephesians 5:4

My personal "rather" would be that Nancy Pelosi come to faith in Jesus Christ and proclaim Him the Lord of her life. The political hooey will all work out.

Actually, PO, when I read MOW's remark, before anyone else had commented back on here, my first thought was, "Oh boy, MOW has opened a can of worms now. Not so much regarding the health care. More regarding that particular comment." I have no doubt at all that he does NOT mean he really wants to see Ms Pelosi in the buff. He was just making a point. But still......

And I assumed when NOW answered back with his comment that he was saying that TIC. Am I right??

That's the problem with typing our words. You can't see facial expressions :) We're all good people here. And we know each other pretty well by now. I don't think anyone meant to slam anyone else. Love you all!!

Of course I was being "TIC." But I was dead serious about Ephesians 5:4

C'mon folks MOW was talking about choosing between two nasty choices. The point was he DOESN'T want to see her without clothes, or probably with clothes, but given the choice between two awful choices he would take that one.

I apologize, Margie. I did read my Bible reading today (lol) but then got into some Healthcare reports this morning. I shouldn't have posted when I was irritated.
