Place: The well of Badr
Victims: 70 merchants from Quraysh Tribe of Mecca, The Quraysh army which came to defend them

The merchandise being carried by this caravan was worth more than 50,000 Gold Dinars. Mohammed ganged up all the criminals of Medina and set out to raid the caravan with 300 men. Yes I understand and know about pre-islamic religion. In fact they were into goddess worship as well (you can see this in the Kaaba too), but supposedly Muhammed denouced all that to follow the One true Allah or God. The same God as the Jews, though the Jews were misguided in their view.

Im not an apologist for Muhammed or the Koran but I don't think it's a great argument that the they worshipped the Moon god before Muhammed supposedly got his revelations

My Uncle ran a school and mission for Arabic Muslims since the 50's. In africa, the Muslims remain in saying the god of Abraham was their god. Then immediately they claim that this god never spoke to Abraham and said "God will provide Himself a sacrifice not do they admit the call to offer Isaac.
