It's ironic many people cry for signs, wonders, healings and miracles but when they do occur, they are skeptical.

You're missing the most important step, GO. The devil doesn't mind if you pray, fast, and fellowship. The apostles prayed, fasted, and fellowshipped, but God sent persecution to the Jerusaleem church so they would be forced scatter.

Today in America, as the spiritual battle rages like
no time in our history, when God-hating forces
are boldly and blatantly declaring
that Jesus is not Lord,
what is the response of the Church?
When the forces of hell are unleashed
in the battle for the soul of this nation,
when the culture is crumbling like
a saltine cracker, when a society on the
verge of self-destruction screams for Truth,
how do Christians fight back?

Sadly we don't fight back with the appropriate enemy, Dordt. We are too busy fighting each other.

The Gospel is the power of God (Romans 1:16). Too much sign seeking in Pentecostal circles. Too often the "show" is the nonBiblical falling out, seizures, convulsions, screaming, rolling, etc and calling it a move of God or power.

Yes, it seems like it!
Thinking that we are doing God's will,
that we are "sharing the Gospel" we have
become deluded into thinking that we are having an impact.
All of the while, we are playing the role that secular,
God-hating America has spelled out for us.
Sharing Jesus, with the already converted,
in the safety of our stained-glass fortresses,
reducing the birth of Jesus to nothing
more that a month-long birthday party.

There is more truth in your words than many of us Christians would care to admit Dordt.

And we don't even share Jesus. We argue over who has the correct interpretation of God's Word.

Many different groups of "Christendom" use
the Bible to prove contradictory teachings.
In the book Literal Interpretation of the Bible it says,
"Apparently the Bible can be made to prove almost anything."
Considering all the contradictions in the various
teachings all supposedly based on the Bible,
one must ask the question, "Who is right?"

Surely, God is not teaching, for example, that one
is saved by earning salvation by good works
and also teaching man is saved by God's Grace without works.

God cannot contradict Himself nor can He lie.
The question is then can God's truth be determined with absolute certainty?

Hanging in the balance is the very souls of men and their eternal destiny.
