Okay, this was very well played by The Donald.
A week or two ago, The Donald was upset with something Lindsay Graham said and released Graham's cell phone number to the public during a campaign event. Graham responded by releasing a video of him destroying his phone in many different ways. The point, apparently, was that he doesn't want to be bothered by people's calls. Enter Gawker. Today, they thought it would be funny to release The Donald's cell number on its website or in a tweet. The Donald's response was brilliant! Instead of getting angry, which is what I thought would happen, he changed his phone greeting into a short, 30 second campaign clip directing people to his website and asking people to donate to his campaign. Then he tweeted out a thank you to Gawker. Well played, The Donald, very well played indeed. http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/donal...ry?id=32875155 |
Re: Trump 2016
I love it! Ran across the link this morning. One of his supporters commented - "Political Judo". Hahahahahahahahaha!
Breitbart is saying that Cruz is wise not to attack Trump as a lot of Trump's base are also for Cruz. The bottom line - Americans are sick of both political parties and they want someone to fight against them. Cruz has much more to lose fighting against the Establishment Republicans as a Senator. But, I also love how Trump is criticizing them all. He has always been fiscally conservative, although he hasn't always been socially conservative, involving on issues. He looks more like a Libertarian, which many in the Republican party are. |

Although, a LOT of Republicans are pushing for a Governor. I had someone block me from their Twitter account because I pointed out that although Scott Walker has fought the Unions, he doesn't appear to be one for standing on principle against his own party and Ted Cruz has. Ticked her off, apparently. :toofunny |

Re: Trump 2016
I haven't paid too much attention to Trump except for the speech clips. But I got to thinking, I wonder how people will receive his wife (Melania) who is very pretty and very "foreign" in her speech? She became an American citizen in 2006. Will Americans want that?
This is the first clip I grabbed (having nothing to do with the Birther video) that appears recent - 2011. http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2011...ificate-video/ |
