I think if she didn't keep a lady like way about her in office, we wouldn't need woman at all. I think it's important for basic gender distinction - the women holding a child in a rocking chair image.

It's a peaceful and calm nurturing aspect and it calms men down. They need a mother even when they grow up or while they are attempting to grow up.

:aaa

No, I am not Rhoni. LOL

I think that whole image is what is going to help win-

but my mother worked all her life and was a manager at IBM here in Ca-- and she always acted like a lady-

That should be a given, I don't know where women have gotten so far away from it that we almost have to over compensate and be a characterure of ladylikeness instead of being natural-

Well, I'm make another lightly treading point........wordly women vs. Godly women.

Sarah is a Godly woman.

Hillary, well...'nuff said.

It's an interesting subject, Jeanie. I don't know either. One day I'm a "salesman" and then I have to say "salesperson" or everyone comes unglued. Things changed so quickly on us. I don't know how or why.

Well, gotta run.

Sorry it's my fault--I felt like I had to over compensate from my Mary Poppins comment-

I just did want to sound like I am against being ladylike, I am not-

I won't know about the cake for 20 minutes. It has to cool enough to take it out of the pan. lol Oh, well, I don't eat it anyway, so....... :D

I didn't think you were implying that at all. This is a great subject and I wish we could dump all of this on it's own thread and discuss it later. Or ya'll discuss it and I'm check it out later.

Have a great evening. Can't wait to hear McCain!!!

Well my mother wasn't necessarily a "Godly" woman, but she was an example of being feminine--

But the world has changed the meaning of femininity--to being sexy. But we dont have to go there. (although I think I just did)

How we even link her likability to her femininity instead of her work ethic-

In California some of the men are pretty lady like!!:ursofunny

I wonder how soon that's coming. I'm sure they would mention it with pride. We need to pray harder for our wonderful country.

Around 26:52 - - I think the crowd like it - you can hear them laughing. They just didn't show their reactions.

Not sure I see what you are talking about her voice or delivery changing.

You know what... He was very kind to Obama... unlike the other way around.. Obama has done nothing but trash him and yet McCain told him that he did respect him... I am very proud of the man he has shown himself to be this race.. No matter what the libs on here and everyone else say...

All obama did in his speech was pretty much try to sound eloquent and cover up the mess the idiot pastor wrong made LOL

Thats what I think as well, I don't know why any American would not want to support such a man!

When he talked about what he went through in Vietnam, I kept saying to Keith -How can anyone compete with that?

I just hope the rest of the country is paying attention.

There is no way anyone will accuse McCain of being mean spirited! He was awesome to Obama.

John McCain is an inspiring figure. Put aside all of the knip and knap of politics, and the man earned his respect and defended his country very admirably. He's paid costs that most of the rest of us never paid, and deserves our appreciation.

He's a great American whether you vote for the guy or not.

Okay, I for one am sold. That's about as logical of an argument as has ever been submitted from your IP address. Lord knows it is probably the most gramatically correct.
All kidding aside, I really do appreciate your spirit Ferd. For some reason, I feel like I know and really like you, and I am praying for your family. I feel like there are great things to come for you and yours.

Ferd,
Your words are all I can say. I can't say Rock the House like I did with Palin.

He was just John.

What a man. What a solid man.

He blamed both parties for failing the people. Fight, Fight, stand up and fight!
You get involved

I admire him! I want him to sit behind that desk in the oval office. If anyone deserves the privilege it is John McCain.
