I'm not a Benny Hinn supporter. So I have no dog in the fight. I hate the jealousy in the room.


On November 6, 2007, United States senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa announced an investigation of Hinn's ministry by the United States Senate Committee on Finance. In a letter to BHM,[21] Grassley asked for the ministry to divulge financial information[22] to the Senate Committee on Finance to determine if Hinn made any personal profit from financial donations, and requested that Hinn's ministry make the information available by December 6, 2007. The investigation also scrutinized five other televangelists: Paula White, Kenneth Copeland, Eddie L. Long, Joyce Meyer, and Creflo Dollar[23][24] . On December 6, 2007, Hinn told the Associated Press that he would not respond to the inquiry until 2008.[25] Hinn's ministry has since responded to the inquiry,

I don't defend every tv preacher. I look beyond the headlines. Journalistic integrity at stake. My motto is "You report, I research, I decide."

Any comments about the previous post in which I presented BH and JM were transparent with congressional investgators?

From my research BH and JM pour tons of money into evangelism and spreading the Gospel. They put more money into missions than what the UPCI raises as an organization in one year.

The upci has cheesy fundraising techniques. They just don't do it in front of a worldwide audience.

You don't like facts to stand in the way of a faulty opinion do you?

Did you change parameters of the discussion? The argument was made Hinn was a fraud with money. Facts shows he was forthright and cooperative.

Again I'm not a Benny Hinn supporter. I don't agree with the fascination with Kathryn Kuhlman. But his financial situation is reputable.

Benny Hinn has probably given more money to missions than the upci can raise in a week. That's just one person.

Hinn appears has an orchard full of fruit.
There are too many reputable people who have been eyewitness and offered personal testimonies validating Hinn's integrity and ministry. Some are members or past members of this forum.

It's time to grow up and be a little less self righteous. It smells in God's nostrils.
