Apprended, I see my name there but is this another example of "you see your own name there"? I don't know. I hate that I don't feel right thanking you for what my eyes see as a compliment but my common sense tells me is a way to deceive.

This joke is actually a way to humiliate, a person thinks they are being complimented and then come to find out they were tricked.

I understand what you are saying.

But--

From the first I did not see anything funny.
I was confused at first, because people were saying nice things about me and they had never had any dealings with me at all. Then I got it, it still was not funny, It has been done a douple of times and it still is not funny. So who is laughing about it? Who thinks it is funny?

Perhaps if someone would take the time to explain to me why it is funny I would feel different.

I think it is funny because people take credit for something they haven't done, thinking people are really just nice.

But people aren't really THAT nice.

BUT, it can be a way to tell everyone that they are welcomed or missed without typing 300 names.

So maybe a couple of people are that nice.

We all think its funny! It got confusing at first because it was new but its become a cause of much laughter and confusion yet a lot of fun for everyone. I am sorry you are confused by it, Its not a way to humiliate someone its just somes way of having some much needed fun...

and yes i can see where a lot of people are not hat nice, But I thought Christians were supposed to be kind on to another???????????????????

I thought it was funny the first time it happened and maybe even the second time. But right now it's gotten old and tired.

Maybe in another 6 months or so it might be funny again. But for the time being, we need to give it a rest.
