We need to ridicule them and call them disgusting and putrid.

Are you being facetious or are you serious bro?

With all the ugly comments about it being disgusting, I figured I'd join in. Sorry... got carried away.

I'm not for it, but I think there are a whole lot more important things to worry about for our teenagers than a couple of confused girls showing up at a prom as a 'couple'.... like drugs, drinking and driving, and the sex the kids will be doing at and after the prom...

The thing yes this is sad, because outside of the grace of God people will do anything, but even sadder people are not ashamed of what they do.
Once upon a time in our society people involved in such lifestyles would not publicly admit such, because the morals and values of people would not tolerate such being admitted.
I have daughters, and I think about what kind of world we have to live in,yet we as Christians are called to be light in a dark place.

Yo Ronzo, I read the thread again and fail to see how... well nevermind it's all sin. Promoting homosexuality, drugs, drinking and driving, or premarital sex is all sin/and sinful. It would be disturbing to see a judge rule in favor of public affirmation of any of them.

I should probably refrain from posting any further in this thread...

I enjoy the discourse - actually.

I find it strange that you would be unable to continue discussion for whatever reason.

(not pointed at Moneyman but pointed to the topic) You know what people reguardless of sexual orientaion have rights. Am I for gay marriage etc, no, but I have a hard time telling someone they have no right cause of a sinful lifestyle. If it were the sin like homosexuality that made someone lose rights then everyone would be right less, right?

Right!

I think it is sickening, but that is because I am a straight man.
I'm also a straight male, but homosexuality doesn't bother me. Same goes for a lot of other straights of either gender. I think there must be another reason you are sickened. Is it because the Bible calls it sin? Maybe. But are you sickened by, say, people working on the Sabbath?

Whether we like it or not it is going to be a bigger part of society than we will be willing to accept. Get used to it.
Good advice!
