Steve, it is folks like you that keep some folks from EVER wanting to be a part of the UPC. I hope you're really proud of yourself.

Well I'll chime in with you Bro. I wouldn't go . I still see " men working with men that which is unseemly" an abomination and a sign of a reprobate mind. Whhile I do believe in mercy and forgiveness, I don't believe in celebrating such a person and holding them up as an example for folks to emulate.

Go head call me sick and throw digital rocks, I don't care. I am still Apostolic and intend to stay that way.

Until there's proof he's gay or until he professes it, I wish to goodness you all would leave him alone. How in the world is listening to his music celebrating him and holding him up as an example to emulate? If you're going to examine the personal life of every song author, you're going to have very little music to listen to.

I hate to break it to you but Steve Epley is not and never has been part of the UPC. He was once AMF but is now independent.

Well, in my particular life and travels I have had opportunity to visit over 1000 public restrooms. I have visited there to do one of two things, neither of which caused me to be led away in cuffs.

If the shoe fits......

Besides there IS a difference. Putting someone on the platform of a church amounts to declaring them a ministry. we aren't talking a Gun's 'n Roses show here. Nobody cares what Axl Rose does in the bathroom, beyond the two things that the room is designed for, but when it comes to Penecostal ministry? They do, and they should. There is a BIG difference.

It is particularly disappointing when the prosecution system of the United States has a higher ethical code than Christianity does, namely, that one is innocent until proven guilty. To my understanding, those charges were dropped but you fine Christians won't DARE let him be innocent.

You just better hope you're never falsely accused because if you are, your name just might appear all over a forum like this.

I don't guess you'd ever consider the possibility that Lanny Wolfe was in the wrong place at the wrong time and that an officer made an arrest that wasn't warranted. Hmmm.....that's never happened, has it?

A few years ago in the state of Illinois, the governor temporarily suspended the death penalty because so many on death row had been cleared by DNA evidence. My friend, it IS possible that a person can be falsely accused and the fact that you automatically assume the worst is sad.

That's an interesting point, John. Just what is the difference (besides the obvious musical genre, etc) between a "Guns 'n Roses show" and a Lanny Wolfe Reunion concert?

For me, I'd kind of lump them both together, in a way. Though it is a bit like teaming up Lawrence Welk with Alice Cooper. But in the whole arena of "shows" versus "ministry" - it seems that though the line is blurred a bit, at the end of the night the audience went to see a "show" and to hear music.

You know P, if the purpose is purely entertainment, there isn't any difference at all. But when he venue is a church, it does indicate a religious significance. How many churches of any flavour host GNR or Megadeth? Black Flag is not likely to play at 1st UPC or AOG.

Lawrence Welk and Alice Cooper? Alice was a bit odd, but Larry crossed all boundaries of strange. Weird with a capital "W"
