Hinn Family News Reports Confirmed by Ministry Executive

Don Price, longtime senior advisor to Benny Hinn Ministries, confirms reports in the news that Suzanne Hinn, wife of Pastor Benny Hinn, filed a petition for divorce in Orange County Superior Court on February 1, citing irreconcilable differences.

Price says, "Pastor Benny Hinn and his immediate family were shocked and saddened to learn of this news on February 17 without any previous notice. The couple has been married for more than 30 years, and although Pastor Hinn has faithfully endeavored to bring healing to their relationship, those efforts failed and were met with the petition for divorce that was filed without notice."

Mr. Price adds, "Both Pastor Hinn and the board of directors of the church ask for the prayers of ministry partners and friends as the Hinn family walks through this difficult season. Pastor Hinn also wants everyone to know that he remains firmly and unquestionably committed to God's calling—as he continues in his thirty-sixth year of ministry—to take the life-saving and miracle-working Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations through crusades, broadcasts, and mission outreaches."

None of us know what happened that led to her filing for divorce. Both sides will claim what they will and tell their own version and spin it their way. BH has the microphone and bigger pulpit, so his voice will be the loudest - as confirmed by his press release.

I think it is so absolutely wrong to judge him like this when you know nothing of his life. How utterly low down can you get? Why on earth would you even think such a thing? Are you a Christian and do you even READ the Word of God?

First of all - Senator Grassley is a crook - like most politicians. He is dishonest and a liar. And yes - it can be and has been proven over and over how he has used his investigations to cover up his own improprieties. What a snake! He will be out of office too before it is all over. Maybe he will investigate YOUR pastor and church or you and you can spend millions to defend yourself over his baseless charges.
And uhhhh - One question - How much did you give Benny Hinn Ministries that this causes you to be so judgmental about him and his family?
Let me take a guess - NONE? Then you have no right to question ANYTHING he spent what the people gave him that wanted him to live like he does.

I don't do a lot of traveling so I don't have any idea of what hotels, meals, etc. cost for a ministry team.

How do the expenses spoken of in this video compare to CEO's, executives, organizational leaders of religious groups, and others?

I think Benny Hinn is a man of God, just a bit weird. But I think he means well. That doesn't mean he had a good marriage, or knew how to be a good husband/father. Who knows? No one will really ever know, outside of his family. Was Suzanne justified in filing for divorce? WHO KNOWS???

Anyway, I hope he steps down from ministry for a while, just to recover. I hate it when these big name guys just go right on like nothing has ever happened. I think it looks bad to the lost.
