Well, don't forget the berries. I'm thinkin' that strawberries, blueberries & raspberries would be good. Perhaps cherries as well. And Redi-Whip!!

If I think of anything else for you to buy, I'll let you know. :tiphat

:heeheehee :thumbsup

I already listed Redi-Whip (Whipped Cream) and Cherries.

I'm not going to do fresh fruit. Strawberries are very high in pesticides and I am sure not buying organic for a group!

I have an expensive cheesecake recipe. It cost almost $20 to make. I made two for a Christmas banquet - Cherry topping and Blueberry. No one wanted the Blue Berry, so I won't do that and I feel it would be the same for Raspberries. Fruits out. But, I will do a bottled strawberry topping.

Thanks for your suggestions! Going to watch, Narnia The Voyage of The Dawn Treader.

Later gater!

Thanks for the mint chip idea. I was wanting to do something with mint. That's a great idea and gives more festive color than the chocolate covered mints.

I was reading that you can use ice packs, in the ice, and rock salt to keep the ice frozen longer. But, if I wrapped the styrofoam ice chests with material, it would get wet and continue dripping down to the table. What could I use? I don't want to spend a lot on that item.

Just a thought......buy those plastic colored table cloths at the dollar store - - they are in all sorts of colors. You could line the cooler and let them fall out all around the outside. Simple, cheap and colorful. The buckets of ice cream would hold it in place - - no taping or anything.

Great idea! I suppose plastic would be okay since it's a graduation. Think they would sweat though? Anything I used, I could wrap it around the container and keep the ice filled to the top. Even if the white edges showed, it would be okay. Thanks! :thumbsup

I wouldn't think it'd sweat at all.

Of course there will be an ice cream eating contest correct? The kind where the contestants hands are tied behind their backs?
