Putting hair up is not broidered. Broidered is an old King James word meaning braided. No where does it say the Corinthian women wore their hair up. Where does Paul say to be like Jewish women? |

In Greek to Broider is plegma:

NOTHING in 1Cor. 11 implies a woman has to wear her hair down. Her head is to be covered not her neck and shoulders. Just saying.

Re: My pastor's wife had broidered hair?
So what it boils down to for some people on this forum:
Cut hair: you go to hell. No tithes paid: you go to hell. Apparently what Jesus did on the cross means nothing to these people. I talked to a fellow once who drove 150 miles to church and back on sunday. He said: "I have to do this, otherwise my family will loose salvation" His pastor told him. (UPCI) Good grief! Of course it would do no good because he was unemployed and had no money left for tithes after filling up his truck with all that gas every sunday. |
