Trust me. I am exposed to the medical side of various body parts quite often myself (my wife brings home her a work a lot -and no, I don't know the people or see their faces. In fact it is more often case studies as it relates to a patient, not the patient themselves) and it really IS very much work and not hard at all to separate personal versus business LOL

Men who are sexually aroused have physical signs of it. I can spell that out for you if you will not find it embarrasing. I have been told that my frank language sometimes offends so I am wanting to be careful and respectful.

In addition, these fellows are not shy in discussing anything, even when what they say makes them look like unprofessional idiots so I don't doubt that they would say whatever is on their minds. Realize that everyone here works for them, they can be themselves without fear pretty much.

I've worked with a lot of nurses who were willing to openly discuss it also and the vibe is just not there if you know what I mean. I also know from my own experience of working with patients of all ages, shapes and sizes and not seeing any of them as sexual although I have every normal drive of a healthy married woman with my husband.

Granted I'm not a man but I know a few pretty well :)

After working in the medical profession for over 20 years, all I got to say is that if you seen one of any body part, you've seen `em all. :nobodycares....except for the one you love though. ;)

Most of the physicians view it as a job to get done because time is money. They move onto the next body that needs fixin. To most physicians and nurses, they might as well be likened to a mechanic working on an engine.

The medical professionals are the only people in the entire world that can talk about gross bodily secretions, snot, brains, waste, blood and guts at the lunch table while they are eating and not bat an eyelid. So why would body parts " emotionally move them"?

Funny story... I was working with a doc doing FFA flight physicals.This brought in a lot of healthy young men. I came out of a room one day after doing an exam to find a couple of secretaries hanging around... Their question: Was the guy I'd just checked out as good looking without his clothes as they suspected?... I was dumbstruck... huh?

A couple of days later they did the same thing to one of the female docs... Did she notice anything about her last patient?... Flipping the chart open she said... "yeah, his insurance pays terrible..."

LOL! Yes...all she was worried about was getting paid for doing her job. :thumbsup
