I think I need to ignore this thread... this is NOT good reading for someone who is living off salads & chicken in hopes of losing a few pounds! :D

I apparently have found some pounds that somebody lost! There is a little 3 year old girl who is like a grandaughter to my wife and I. She stays with us sometimes and was here last weekend.

As I was getting ready for bed and had pulled my shirt off she looked at me and said "You are BIG!!!". I said "are you calling me FAT?". She smiled sweetly and said "Yes!". Kids......:lol

Kids are painfully honest sometimes aren't they? That's why I'm living on chicken & salads for a while... my 8 yr old son is "honest" too. :D

Ok, here's the recipe for everybody but Berk:

1 german cho cake mix
(prepare as directed)
1/2 cup evaporated milk
3/4 cup melted butter
14 oz bag of caramels
2 cups chocolate chips
2 cups pecan halves

Mix cake s directef on box. Pour 1/2 batter in to 9x13 inch greased and floured cake pan. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Melt caramels with butter and evaporated milk in double boiler or microwave; stir often. Pour over cake. Top with 1 cup of pecan halves and 1 cup chocolate chips. Pour rest of batter on top. Put rest of pecans and chocolate chips on top. Bake for 20-30 minutes.

Voila, that's all there is to it. It is really good.

I think there may be some left. I have only had one tiny sliver. Really, cause it's so rich.
