Neither Apostolic or Pentecostal rates very highly in the world.

Filing out my application to a Bible-based college - they didn't have a choice for either.

The Apostolic Assembly (Mexican-American) Oneness groups is sizable.

However, I do think it's interesting to note that many of the pioneeering orgs even the PCI and PAJC ... PMA ... used Pentecostal in their names ...

There was a time when we wanted to still be considered Pentecostal ... primarily.

as we have polarized ourselves in subsequent generations from the rest of the Pentecostal movement ... we've started adapting Apostolic as the label for everything ...

It's how we differentiate ourselves apparently from the rest ...

I think it's a result of us casting our relatively "new" heritage .... our royal seal.

As for Apostolic being used .... Catholics, Mormons, ... and other groups have used it for centuries.
