LOL!!! I have been one of the lucky husbands. My MIL loves me and 99.9% of the tme takes my side in everything.

She actually has lived with us for about the last two years but went to visit her sister in Louisiana a couple of months ago and we were able to get her an assisted living apartment starting in July. She is a parapalegic in a wheelchair.

I can appreciate this, as my MIL treats me as good if not better than her own sons. She was here for a month last year. This will never happen again as my FIL has been failing this last year. We want to go visit (Maine) later this summer.
