I don't think he's lying but OP is not UPC and it's quite possible he's been fed some wrong information with all the doubletalk and half-truths swirling around. You sound like you think you're painting me in a corner with this "do you trust Old Paths." ... loaded question but I think I answered it for you frankly. I'm one who doesn't get painted into corners. Why do I call him "Loophole Larry"? Because he's futiley tried to codify and cobble together a theological position that television is sin and the internet is okay. Obviously his attempts are nothing more than dreaming up loopholes ... hence my nickname for him. Do I mean it to be derisive? You betcha. |

Oh ... and to elaborate further - in fairness to Booker, I won't comment further on this letter until Booker himself confirms he sent it ... or at least one of the organizers does.
I don't see Crawford Coon much any more even though he pastors only 30 miles from Alexandria (in Jena, scene of the recent "Jena Six" farce.) I may try to look him up and ask him. |
Boy why don't I get letters like this perhaps I'm too liberal.

I believe Legal Larry's treatise about the internet set the wheels in motion for the passing of resolution #4. It opened the eyes of many people that legalism cannot be consistent. Legal Larry opened the door with denying principle for the sake of convenience with the internet and it came around to bite him.
