I wondered that myself.

My guess would be an exit poll?

No, but he did keep good tabs on ministry time and what exactly happened. Typical camp meeting in Pentecostal circles we have no idea half the time what happened, either before we prayed and after.

There seems to be a real connection between emotional problems, sin, and sickness. This is not a blanket in every case thing, but there definitely is a connection.

There are sicknesses onto death, chastisement and the glory of God.

I can think of one sin that is the cause of several diseases.... if you don't take some precautions..

I am sure glad that you are not God and the ultimate judge. He had the HG, whose knows if he was baptized in Jesus name, I will not get into an argument with someone who known’s very little about him and even cares to have an intelligent dialogue about healing.

But here is a fact he got more Baptists, evangelicals, other mainliners filled with the HG in one of his conferences than most Pentecostals do in a lifetime of ministry.

In some cases, yes. But it is not a rule of thumb.

My computer crashed over the weekend, so I haven't been back to this thread.

The tape does not say that this preacher called this lady out or where he had the conversation with this lady. He was giving an illustration of something that had happened.

My point was does God allow disease because of sin and some have come up with some great thoughts and scriptures. Thanks.

I believe that all sickness and disease are caused by sin...if not ours then another's...does God use sickness to punish us...I think not.

Blessings, Rhoni

Rhoni, not every instance of sickness if punishment, and I would say not even most...but the Scripture is very clear that this is sometimes a means of chastisement.

There is no getting around it.
