Their vision too is "we won't be able to go to camp at the same time...*sniff*"....there has got to be a better way to make critical decisions like this than an emotional appeal about a handful of youths that have a few years left to see each other at the next youth camp...particularly when many pastors are not even sending their kids to them anymore but to their own.

Looks like after reading a number of them a bunch of young people are going to backslide over this... :hmmm..

This is still sickening....

Bud: Youth... my brother to be exact. He made the web page himself, and all the signatures are from his promotion. His idea. He barely made the website on Tuesday. I'm happy with how much response he's gotten and I'm surprise that so little people know about the plans for a split.

A power monopoly? IS he serious? Does he know what a monopoly is? When there is ONE big company that is the ONLY company that is a monopoly. They then BREAK that company into many smaller ones to break the monopoly. This WD is anything BUT unified at the moment to begin with. Unity has nothing to do with district borders...it's about beliefs and goals. If this argument was the case, then get rid of sections too....get rid of districts. No WD at all...no Ohio district...just one big happy family. That way ALL our youth can go to one big happy youth camp. And all the rest of us can go to one big happy camp meeting....goodness.

These guys are too young to understand that life goes on and there are more important things than seeing a friend once a year at a camp...see each other anyways...

BTW..I feel for these guys. I really do. I realize they may have huge therapy bills in the future. And for that reason I am thinking of changing my mind on this split vote. I don't think we can afford all those lawsuits when they come to demand the souther district pay for their bills.

Just think...one day it will all be over and you can spend an eternity together :nod
