It reminds me of my wife when she's driving. She gets so upset at things other drivers do, but I just keep my mouth shut when I see her doing all the same things. I am sure Ron can relate.

You are a good example...you probably shun those backward folks don't you? See them at Walmart and you avoid them?

Maybe the reason they have their noses in the air is they are trying to see what you are looking at with your nose in the air.......

Having said that I believe it certainly holds true for today. I would be quick to observe there must be very, very few Churches who are walking in the light such as John spoke of.

Christians should be courteous to everyone. If one is rude and mean there are not a Christian who is in right standing with Jesus.

Showing courtesy and common kindness isnt the same as heart fellowship.

Im not sure how to take your response? I was being sarcastic with my total post. I was answering the question based on what I have observed from fellow "apostolics". I don't shun anyone at all. I speak to everyone and am as comfortable ministering to the homeless community in my city as I am on a platform full of squeaky clean ministers. From my own experience, the people from my former church literally RUN from me when they see me out because I attend an Apostolic Church that is a "come as you are" church. We may have 2 ladies that wear dresses, the rest are pant wearers. We dont have the "standards" that most expect us to have. When they see me in Walmart in my shorts and short sleeves it like I dont even exist. But of course, all I can say is, their church hasnt had a baptism in at least 3 or 4 years and our baptistry stairs are starting to wear thin from so much use! We are taking 7 down in the Name this Sunday!!!
