Some defend trinitarians as "men of God", brazenly post pictures of themselves posing with or showing themselves to be "non-standards Apostolics" (practically defying us to say anything about it), and defending trinitarian charismatics as thought they were churches of God. Some actively promote the notion that people DO NOT have to be baptized in Jesus' name or receive the Holy Ghost for salvation, right here on an Apostolic forum. Many believe in NO standards of holiness WHATsoever, and practically throw it up in your face and dare you to challenge it...and you're offended by BILL PRICE?
When people defend the tranditional Apostolic position on any of these or other things, they are routinely ridiculed, made fun of, told their posts are "sad", and even have people implying that they need God's forgiveness. You know exactly what I'm talking about. For an Apostolic Pentecostal forum, I'm amazed at the way everything taught in traditional Apostolic churches get trashed on here, but BILL PRICE'S OPINIONS OFFEND you?
WHO WAS OFFENDED by people making FUN of him, calling him "Billy Boy" and practically taking wagers on how long he'd be gone? Do you have any idea how offensive and hurtful that was? Who was offended that someone who, praise God, MADE IT BACK to JESUS after Satan had nearly DESTROYED him was being held up for public belittlement? Would you have felt better and more justified if he had remained lost in sin? So he's had some challenges in his beliefs---he made it back to the right path, didn't he? Disappointed? I suppose some of you have never had a faith crisis, huh?
Did it ever occur to any of the better-idea-"progressive" Apostolics on here to be concerned for Bro. Price? Your hard-heartedness amazes me. Scratch that...it doesn't amaze me...it simply FLOORS me...I'm flabberghasted to see such crass disregard for a brother in the house of God.
For the record, everybody on here is not like the people I described above, so I'm not talking about everybody on this list. But some are, and they flaunt it at every turn. But even when people like that take potshots and trash-talk a previously wounded saint for whom Christ died, one who made it home, by the way, we're all supposed to tolerate it and take it with equanimity. Sad. Well, for the record, I was offended.

I agree with everything Bro. Polaris has stated on this thread. If I had been Bro. Price, I would probably gone somewhere and hidden under a rock, but though he has been called names and ridiculed and berated, he has held firm to what he believes in. If he in fact does have a problem with instibility in his beliefs, I think it's our place to pick him up, brush him off, and doctor his wounds rather than continue to kick him over and over. I've even seen those who ask people to not make unkind remarks about people, like Tammy Faye Bakker, for example who is not even one of our own. Where is the kindness that should be shown to one of our own, Brother Price? I see so many times when someone makes a remark about someone who has left the UPC and the church that you've got to show them the Love, and even posted a song about Love. Don't criticize them, but love them instead. Now where is the love in our responses posted to and about Brother William Price, our Brother in Christ? One of our own!!

To both of you:
BP has every right to believe whatever he wants to believe, flip flop as often as he chooses and post about his flip flops here with freedom. However, he does not have the freedom, as he is oft want to do, to criticize to the point of being judge and jury to those who disagree with him. I can fully respect someone who disagrees with me as long they don't get "holier than thou" on me, as if they had perfect doctrine, life etc.
Billy has done this time and again and it is not right. He doesn't act in love, won't respond in love and won't take suggestions or criticism out of love in love either. It's his way or the highway! These are the things he got the "boot" for, not for what he believes.
The only things worse than wrong doctrine IMO and I think the Lord's as well in mistreatment in the name of right doctrine. That is what wars have been started over and people murdered over etc, etc.
If Billy wants treated differently, then he needs to act differently. Apparently, he has been corrected on his doctrine numerous times...it is time for his attitude and spirit to receive the same adjustment. I pray for his deliverance. I used to be far more judgemental than he is, so fully understand the struggle. Still, there is hope!
