I think they are loosely defining the word "heal" as well.

I would remind the forum that healings in the times of Jesus were often immediate, permanent, and observable.

Not surprisingly, Bernard's letter in response was gracious and spoken in kindness.

He reiterated what I term the Bernard doctrine.

You can't affirm these things, it's best you leave.

If you do, stay and help us change things.

He did ask me to reconsider if perhaps I was acting rashly. He also said the he believes that the UPCI, or he?, falls on the side of grace, as I recall.

Neither long Hair nor man heal anybody, God heals people.

I have a close friend that has very short hair, and she, and her husband, have had ministries in two different states over the years. They primarily spent time fasting and praying to cast out demons. That was their primary ministry due to the demonic activities in those towns. The demons obeyed when she commanded those demons to leave people, because they knew the Jesus she worshiped and did not seem to care that she had short hair.

These were real demons, by the way. One tiny frail lady who was demon possessed lifted her large husband up in the air with one hand while she was laying down on the floor. He was leaning over her commanding the demons to leave, and she just picked him up and held him in the air.

I need to mention that she also has the "gift of healing" some would say. She would say that God uses her, she doesn't heal anyone. Her very short hair does not seem to keep God from moving through her when she prays for people to be healed.
