To me, it looks like the opposite has happened, actually. Over the years, having relationships with young teenagers has become less and less acceptable, and child marriages are nearly nonexistent in western culture. (They're definitely socially unacceptable across the board.)

Homosexuality and pedophilia are not even close to being in the same category. One act is between adults, and the other victimizes the innocent. Homosexuality is a free choice; in pedophilia, one person is a predator. I doubt pedophilia will find acceptance in the near future.

Sadly, I think you're right.
There is such a thing as a slippery slope. Open the door to same sex marriage and now there's a TV program depiciting a real life poligamist. Why that man hasn't been arrested I can't figure it out.
I haven't watched it, but have seen the commericals for it and it just seems to be a matter of fact program.

The very idea that book made it to amazon speaks volumes.

If there is a single case of child abuse wherein this book is present, I think the parents should be able to legally go after the writer, the publisher, and Amazon.

It was just added Oct. 28th, so there's not much history with the effects of the book. The article said there's only been one purchased. That's one too many.

The man in "Sister Wives" shouldn't be arrested unless the Utah police are going to simultaneously arrest all the other polygamists who are living the lifestyle openly in their state.

It wouldn't really matter to me if polygamy were legal. Homosexuality and polygamy do not belong in the same category as pedophilia.

The problem with perversion is with BHO and his cronies too? The problem that Amazon didn't choose to ban this, or somehow missed it earlier is a political issue? You are sounding as desperate as those "Blame EVERYTHING on Bush" people. Sheesh.

Well, maybe that was the one purchased for Anderson Cooper's show. They had a copy.

I'm comparing all these acts to the will of God.
It matters to me greatly that the moral values of the Word of God are reflected in our society, that's all I'm saying.
