Sandra Fluke was not promoting pre-martial sex either, which is my point. You and most others are assigning actions and dialog to her that she never did or said in her testimony.

No, her real agenda is a farce. She needs to produce some of her colleagues who can't afford an I-phone, an I-pad, an I-pod, a high-speed internet connection, cable television, and anyone who doesn’t spend $20 a week at Starbucks.

"When is a man referred to as a slut ? Most men welcome the reputation of being sex objects to the opposite sex. Is there a different standard for men and women when it involves their sexual prowess? A friend just conveyed to me that every man would welcome the reputation of being labeled a player. I must tell you I am having trouble reconciling their comments. How many men do you know relish the reputation of being a player, given it's never frown upon in society? A player in my opinion is a slut by a different name." - Armstrong Williams

Okay, men, if you have ever called yourself a "PLAYAH"- you know what you are. Just sayin'...... :thumbsup :heeheehee

Guys like to joke about a guy being a player, but I do not know of very many who truly desire that reputaion. Having a reputation as a player is as bad for a guy as being known as a slut is for a girl. Guys who get a true reputation for this is actually disliked and ridiculed. Not many guys actually acheive that status even if they deserve it.

I know a guy who prides himself in being one...poor guy let himself go, got a beer belly and bad teeth now...still thinks he's a player though.

That is the sad part. Most players never realize when they have lost it. Then they go to jail and lose jobs because of sexual harrasment charges.

I have to agree with Rush.

If you can not afford to have sex, keep your legs closed.

What surprises me most is that it was Obama who called her and not Clinton.

It is interesting that you automatically assumed that she "just wants to have it whenever, without responsibility". She never said that, never alluded to that, there is no evidence of that.

It is very sad that you jump to that harsh of a conclusion about a woman you have never met or talked to, based on what GOP talking heads are saying.

One thing I am absolutely sure of, she was a stooge of the Democrats for political purposes. I don't give a rip of whether she sleeps around, she is being used, and most rational people understand exactly what is going on here. The Demos are simply changing the subject and the screaming heads in the media are trying to help the president get re-elected. So, just stop the nonsense the this is about some poor college student, it is not!!!

I will have to correct you there, crakjak. My OBGYN put me on the pill at age 17 to help *regulate* everything, and the pill also helps clear up acne. There ARE legitimate reasons to take BC pills other than as a contraceptive.

As a sidenote, I generally believe the pill is unhealthy and I wish women would use more holistic methods for BC, but I'm just pointing out that there is more than one reason a doctor would prescribe it.

I know what you are saying, I also know it has been used to facilate sexual activity, and was in the cases to which I referred. I also believe, that the public has be sold a bill of goods about the pill, and that it causes more damage than good. Very unhealthy.

Crakjak, from what I have heard, this is a woman in her 30s who has become a Democrat operative over the last several years. She is not being used, she is using us. She was not allowed to speak to the committee that was actually holding the hearings about the issue, so Nancy Pelosi gave her a different platform to spread her filth.
