i think the saying love the sinner not the sin is the real deal...cause if ur a Christian ur supposed to have the love of Christ in u....should homosexual preachers who are openly living a life of sin have ministeral license....no cause that what makes you a minister...you are living the life to be able to be in a positon to minister to those who are not...i mean cmon....if u really have the love of Christ though the gay person, the homosexual will respect ur life n when God speaks to them and so...if u join their lifestyle how can the pulpit reach the pew?

I think it's great that Reba has reached out to the Gay community. Just like the story of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10: 27 -37...the religious elite of the time (the priest and levite) both passed by walking on the other side of the road an wouldn't help the man. They should have been the ones showing a good example but it was the Samaritan who actually stopped and helped him. Reba is like that Samaritan. She's not too proud to help someone when they're in need.

I have to tell you , I've been to several of the Gay Pentecostal Churches. I felt the same Holy Ghost......saw the tears streaming down their faces as they praised and worshiped God in Spirit and in Truth, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. God is no respector of persons....!

I still find it funny that there can be a Gay Pentecostal church not to add to the fact they can speak in tongues be baptised and still be gay..LOL I myself really don't care people can do what they want to do I just find it so funny..That the speaking in tongues only is supposed to happen to the born again christian but yet we tell gays they are not christians and are going to hell because of there lifestyle. So I would not be so quick to put them in Hell..LOL

True, God is no respecter of persons. Seems you have read Acts, but continue to read Romans. He will forgive those that ask, but I do believe He wants us to forsake our sinful nature and follow Him. Can a "gay" lifestyle be promoted as anything but sinful from a biblical perspective?

I would believe that tongues are not the only evidence of a Spirit filled life. John the Baptist said to "bring forth works meet for repentance". In the Weaver Paraphrase "Your actions, attitudes, and affections should match up to your repentance" or "Show me you are repentant by living a sin overcoming life"

I've read all of the scriptures which are "alleged" to speak against homosexuality. In fact none of them truely speak against it. The word "homosexual" didn't even exist in the original Greek or Hebrew language. There are many good books on the Bible and Homosexuality and What the Bible Really Has To Say About Homosexuality. Very good reading, and once read them, you will never look at the so called gay "clobber passages" quite the same.

I agree............ I don't think it was God's original plan for two men or two women to ever live together as "man and wife." He probably had something more equitable in mind like Co-Husbands or Co-Wives...who knows...Unfortunately, Eve "the woman" went against God's original plan and single handedly altered the whole course of history. It's all her fault that the world isn't perfect.

Hi Folks,

Just want to say this, we should never believe what he said or she said. Yes Reba and Dony's church are open to welcoming the homosexuals, but that does not mean they advocate that lifestyle.Jesus hung out with sinners, but he did not partake in what they were doing or their frame of mind.

I think we should really be mindful of this.

We need to start a new movement of Gay Reforming, God can still break chains the problem is we are not reaching them with that message only that God Hates Homosexual. God doesn't hate homosexuals, He hates the sin of Homosexuality. God hate's chemical dependency, fornication, chemical dependency, etc. Each of these are sin, but GOD, JESUS he loves the sinner and wants to bring them reconsiliation. We as Apostolics need to change this course and convert and show the reforming power of Jesus.

First let me say that gay bashing is wrong.

And now let me say that some people will go to hell who had the Holy Ghost.

The Spirit is not given because we are perfect, but to lead us to all truth. It's up to us how much we allow the Spirit to successfully lead us. He will not force us to do right. We can have the Holy Ghost and never serve God the way we should. Think of Israel led by the Pillar of fire in the wilderness. Did the presence of the fire mean tall they did was fine?

The Spirit does not leave us as soon as we sin. He is longsuffering. The whole concept that that proposes that whatever state someone is in when they get the Holy Ghost determines that their activities are okay is extreme error. And if you base your entire concept of initial evidence "theory" on that mistaken concept, then seeing your basis as your reason can only encourage those who believe in evidence "theory" moreso about their "theory".

Dottie Rambo's stand against her daughter's church was a stand against inclusionism which tolerated homosexuality as not being a sin. So it was not as though Reba allowed gays to attend and did not condone their lilfestyle.
