Why cut and paste items here and hijack from Thah wanting all the attention?!?

I like Daniel alot and I for one am sad that he won't be posting here anymore. After meeting him, I realized that he is a very intelligent and sensitve person who really loves God. I hope others get to see that side of him in the future.

I don't know about the pope regarding salvation, but the point could be made the legalists believe in the doctrine of infalibility. Look at the group heading to Tulsa. They hinge their meeting based on decisions less than 100 years old. Maybe the legalists are stealing more from the catholics than we give them credit for.

Sorry about ya luck Dan!!! It looks like you took the bullet.

We could go off topic big time with this one lol

LOL. He said his citation was not intended to be in support of M. Arnold's book. His quotes clearly supported "baptismal regenerationalism."

"Baptismal Regenerationalism" is not a "bad" thing. It's just a thing. An idea, a position and teaching on baptism. It means "to be born again of the water..." the waters of baptism.

For me I think it was a wise decision made after much thought & consultation by Admin.

It is good to that a review will happen in 6 months to examine his reinstatement.

Admin are doing a hard job well.

Are we still too thin skinned about the "cult" accusations? I mean as a group? From my reading of history, everything's a cult. I've worked for companies that had more "standards" than any church I've attended.

If everybody's a "cult," then nobody really is. In ancient times "cult" was a good thing.

And you're no "real" "con," PP. You're too real for many of the labels we throw around.

That "real" part of me gets me in a lot of trouble Pel. :jolly

I'm just not "preachy" enough.

However, to my knowledge, "cult" as an accusation is not a good thing. But hey, you're way more intelligent than I'll ever be, so what do I know?

DAN...

I agreed with Dan most of the time, but could not ever come close to articulating positions as he did.

Dan's soteriology is what got him in trouble with some here - add to that his agressive, no pulled punches and witty spirit and he was dynamite for Jesus!

May he rest in peace... Oh wait he ain't dead yet!

We love ya DA!

Sheri, I have heard that from others as well, and I believe he is one of the more intelligent posters here.

A timeout whether forced or not isn't a bad thing for any one of us.
