No, they don't

Christ claimed to be the Son of God and Muslims reject that

Jesus claimed he would die and rise from the grave, Muslims reject that too

A FALSE PROPHET IS A FALSE PROPHET IS A FALSE PROPHET.

Sure it is
They believe baptism is to be done in Jesus name

God is a singular personal being and Jesus is that Person manifest in flesh

That's a big chunk of what we usually call "Apostolic"

And many followers Branham also believe tongues is the evidence of the baptism of the Spirit.;

Hoovie,

my point is that most Apostolics would not consider this guy saved or a brother in Christ.

Now this guy is our brother-- why not for others?

Are COG preachers only going to Heaven if they die for declaring the truth that they believe?

Is this potential cult leader's best chance at Heaven is for him to physically die while declaring the only truth he knows?

If he is executed for the Name of Jesus, is he saved at the point of execution, right before execution, or after he is dead, is he then saved?

Or since he is not in the truth, does it matter if he stands for Jesus or not-- isn't his eternal home based on the fact that he declares a false gospel?

if this man is a cult leader, or closely associated with a known cult, I can't classify him a Christian.

So why should I pray for him?

Should we pray for persecuted Mormons? Persecuted JW's? Persecuted Hindus?

Maybe I would pray for this guy because he is human and facing injustice-- not because he is a Christian as it appears that he isn't a Christian.

I am unsure if Paul would even pray for him, if this guy is a false prophet.

Why should I?

This reads so calloused, I know.

Oh well.

Man I love the irony here....we are called "cult"...WE are told we aren't Christian

If I wasn't Apostolic, or didn't have that background, I doubt that any of these questions would be dreamed up.

I'd simply pray for the man because he is a Christian about to die while declaring a key part of The Gospel that saves the souls of men.

Instead, I have questions, rooted in the truths I have accepted as an Apostolic Christian, a true Christian, part of the only true Christian sect around today.

If a person is not Apostolic, are they really saved? C'mon man, don't you know we're special-- we're Apostolic-- God's only Chosen Gentiles for 21st century Earth.

If his life wasn't in danger, we wouldn't bat an eye at him and we probably not consider him a Christian.

If he isn't a real Christian, why should I even wish him God's Speed-- let alone pray for God to save his life?

When was the last time you prayed prosperity and God's protection for a Mormon missionary?

I think you are very wrong here Jermyn. Most "Apostolics" would accept the man as brother based on his confession and obedience to Acts 2:38. They would not be chummy with him, but neither are they chummy with a pastor down the street in their same denomination. :)

I have known several Brahamites that spoke in tongues...
I am not Branhamite and see Christians who do not speak in tongues as brothers in Christ...

What was the question again?

Okay so do I ....

I know Catholics that have spoken in tongues ... but do not teach the essentiality of glossalia of as necessary evidence of the Holy Spirit but rather the laying of hands of the bishopric as confirmation....

Yet, Bernard ... nor you would call them "Apostolic".

Those Branhamites that do ... do not speak as essential proof of being filled but as part of the charisms.
