I like how you think! :)

Well, you seem predisposed to think he has some hidden, unspoken meaning to what he saying. Rather than just going by what he plainly says in an Education Issue, you seem to want to figure out what he "really means".

Maybe in the end its just gonna mean to you whatever you think it means.

Nor did I. And I have a STRONG feeling none of the authors were told they had to write in code speak or relay a specific message per se.

It's much more exciting to think they did though, isn't it?! :toofunny

I reckon. I imagine some think that when the authorsa are contacted they are told what they can and cannot say. For instance, it would seem some think this entire edition of the PH was to start a new "agenda" and surely the authors were told what they had to communicate.

Is that what they taught you in seminary? :thumbsup

Yes and headquarters sends them their sermons too! :toofunny

The PH has really updated and focuses on more updated issues. I think the layout is great. I don't always read every article, but I do flip through it and read the articles that interest me.

No, that's not true. I just want to know what he means by 'apostolic teaching'. What is that in the context of this article? That's all I'm asking. My evidence for understanding it to include holiness is reasonable. Like anybody who interpretes the Bible with the goal of discovering authorial intent I am trying to figure what the UPCI means when they say this.

And your final statement is precisely why they choose to use code words, it's common practice in politics. They present things in pallatable ways so as not to ruffle feathers and leave it ambiguous enough that people can interprete it according to their own desires. You choose not to include standards, for whatever reasons, and I do and have documented those reasons.
