If I was asked to preach in Tulsa I wouldn't mention any of the issues. I would just minister to the people that are there.

Thanks this was for a friend of mine, that may get to go. They threw the invitation away originally thinking they could not go.

I have been to many "Pre-Bott" monday meetings at Anthony's house... All have been great, but this one might prove to even more interesting... I think I will show up in a Dorsey Jersey and see if anyone else does too..

One would imagine that after last year's whooping .. in which Arnold told the ministers assembled that they don't KNOW GOD ... and that they're married to doctrine but divorced from Diety .... it would seem he would not be invited back.

However, folks in Pentecost prefer to be pummeled by their preachers. Odds are he'll be back.

Thank Goodness!!! My husband goes and it is usually the same week of my daughters birthday! This year I can have her party without stressing that he won't make it back home in time! :bliss

well, some think that "your ok and God is about to fill your teeth with Gold" is good preaching.

Just as there are some who will not go to the altar unless they've be "convicted"/whalloped/manhandled by the preacher.

Does anyone think that the BOTT meetings have shaped our new and young ministers to pattern themselves after the POA church or taking on there behaviors and teachings?

Boy howdy, I hope so...

They teach and live tithing, soul winning, worship, supporting the preacher, standing with the pastor, modest dress, loyalty to their church, decent moral living, One God, Acts 2:38, tongues, gifts, etc.

Oh, and yes, they intend to ADVERTISE on tv.

So out of all the stuff they teach, I have a problem with one. So what? I got a problem with the way my armpits smell after I've gotten sweaty, too.

There are a lot of young men that could use AM's influence on how to have revival.

I trust Wayne Huntley will preach this year.

I am saddenned he starts at 4 PM and is almost finished with the introduction and on the first point by the time I get home at 530 PM.

It was a good message, no matter the messenger, thought the messenger did a good job delivering.

As crude, mean, and downright nasty he can get, there's something about that guy that I just can't NOT like him... (double negative = postivie... IOW: I like the guy despite his manner. I must be nuts)
