Because of the Times
Does any one know what the dates are for Because of the Times this year?
|
This is from a cached page in the Google index. www.thepentecostals.org/bott2008.asp leads to a "Under Construction" page that has over ridden the BACK button on your browser. BAD WEB DESIGN! The links appear to go to the same messed up site... no the links are all dead. I'd call the number. Apparently we've caught their development team at a bad moment. Registration for BOTT 2008 opens October 15, 2007, at 6:00 am CST. (BOTT Main Conference, BOTT-PK, and BOTT Childcare) </SPAN> </B> http://209.85.173.104/events/bott_gp_3.JPGConference Registration ALL SEATING is reserved and limited to pre-registered participants. They moved up the event this year |
I wonder if any of the guys leading the Tulsa group would preach at BOTT and not use Res 4 in any part of their message if they were asked?
|
Is JA going to be speaking again?

I wonder if Islam will recognize the Pope as a prophet? I wonder if Karl Rove will manage Hillary's election campaign? I wonder........ :noidea |

If I was asked to preach in Tulsa I wouldn't mention any of the issues. I would just minister to the people that are there. |

Hmm ... LSU plays Ohio State in the National Championship game Monday January 7th.
Methinks Anthony just might have a big "Pre-BOTT" party with a bigscreen to watch the game. :tease |

However, folks in Pentecost prefer to be pummeled by their preachers. Odds are he'll be back. |

You disagree with what he said? |

as relayed by MonkeyMan at NFCF. |

Albeit, it was filtered through MonkeyMan ... I remember reading the thread while lurking at NFCF ... |

... just commenting on the masochistic nature of some in Pentecostal culture when it comes to what is considered GOOD PREACHING... IMO. |

... I can think of a few preachers who loved to lay a hurt on listeners ... Just as there are some who will not go to the altar unless they've be "convicted"/whalloped/manhandled by the preacher. |

You are so confusing me.:) |
Does anyone think that the BOTT meetings have shaped our new and young ministers to pattern themselves after the POA church or taking on there behaviors and teachings?
|
Quote:
They teach and live tithing, soul winning, worship, supporting the preacher, standing with the pastor, modest dress, loyalty to their church, decent moral living, One God, Acts 2:38, tongues, gifts, etc. Oh, and yes, they intend to ADVERTISE on tv. So out of all the stuff they teach, I have a problem with one. So what? I got a problem with the way my armpits smell after I've gotten sweaty, too. There are a lot of young men that could use AM's influence on how to have revival. |
I trust Wayne Huntley will preach this year.
I am saddenned he starts at 4 PM and is almost finished with the introduction and on the first point by the time I get home at 530 PM. :preach |
