How talented are you?

Can you sing? Play an instrument? Dance? Play multiple instruments? Paint?


It's time for a little braggadocious around here!

C'mon people, what do you do well?

I play Electric bass and Some Upright bass,and rhythmn guitar.
No singing though.

I play the radio pretty good. And CDs.

Is that due to talent or boredom? :tease :ursofunny :ursofunny

I have a great memory. I communicate very well. I do not sing or play. However if everyone did nobody would be left to enjoy the music...

I sing.

Actually, I'm a pretty good painter when I feel like painting (which is rare). Will try to post a picture of two.

I collect sunglasses does that make me talented ?
I need some nice Rayban Wayfarers.I have one Rayban pair but they aren't Wayfarers that I hardly ever wear.

I am a pretty good watercolor artist. Actually, without bragging, I have alot of artistic talents. God's been good to me.

I play the clarinet ok

I make beautiful funeral DVD's.

And oh ya, I can play my nose.

I am very good at mothering and nurturing because I have had many years

of experience and it didn't start with my own and it hasn't ended when our

children left home. I "mother" in Zion (the church) now. If something is wrong

or there is a problem, I go to the Father (prayer) and He takes care of it. If

He gave Himself for it, surely I can help "mother" with loving care until He

gets back. It's easy to be a mother when you love the Father so much!

Mother Falla39 you're about like an angel,if all Moms were like you what a wonderful world this would be.

I speak English, Spanish, and some French and Portuguese, even less Mandarin and Hindi and about two words of Yoruba :)

I play the piano, drums, and baritone (which could easily be extended to brass instrument)

I play the piano by ear. I haven't read music since I was in 4th grade, and I doubt that I could even read it much now. Not as talented as many I've heard, but when I do play, I just do the best I can do. When I do play, I usually have someone singing so it drowns out any mistakes I make. :heeheehee

I also paint. Maybe I can post some pictures of my painting at another time. I'm too busy today to take the pictures. ;)

Sis Falla, we don't tell you often enough how much your prayers for our needs on this forum are appreciated. You are always there praying when every need is mentioned here--no matter how great or small the need is. You are truly a prayer warrior. If I could only choose one person on this forum to pray for me, it would be you-- because I know your prayers reach the throne.

Thanks, Esther. I can't sing a lick and have always been jealous of those who can. But I've learned that God gives other talents as well. So I'm ok with who I am :)

Well, I was gonna post a photo of one of my paintings. But not after seein Margie3s. Those are really good. Those are ART. Makes mine look like a... well, painting.

wow, finally a chance to construct my own pedestal, toot my own horn, and pat myself on the back....the only problem....I am a shakey carpenter who has never successfully made sound come out of a trumpet and my right shoulder was injured years ago (and my left hand is basically just for show and counting to 10).

I have become quite good at understanding and fixing electrically controlled systems of things.

I have had a lot of success with making campfires (without the help of accelerants) even when the firewood has been laying in the snow (I would never camp without a sharp hatchet and axe).

I can read topo maps better than most folks that I have hiked with along unfamiliar trails.

I know that God is a spirit and that God is not a man.

I used to be able to hit a tennis serve at about 125 mph.

I am not very talented (other than juggling many "hats") But I took piano lessons for a few years as a teenager and about a month ago I started them back up and I am really enjoying it.

And I also know sign language! :hanky

paint,
sing,
know some sign language,
play very little piano,
and organ,
raise Pomerians,
garden,
teach,
play games, etc.

OneAccord, PLEASE post your painting! Seriously! I would enjoy seeing your work. I've truly never believed there is 'good art' and 'bad art'. If you enjoy it and it makes you happy and relaxes you to do it, then it's good art.

Kinda like my singing. I'm not a good singer. But that doesn't stop me from singing.

We want to share the joy that your painting brings to you.
