:rudolph I need help naming him! Anyone have any ideas for us? :rudolph

He's a 12-week old Bichon Poo. He's extremely cuddly, friendly, and of course, playful. The first thing he did when I picked him up was cuddled up on my neck with his head on my shoulder.

rgcraig 12-07-2007 10:04 AM

I love him!

He looks like a sweet puppy!

Sweet Pea 12-07-2007 10:19 AM

He is absolutely adorable! I can totally understand why you fell in love! Cuddly puppies are the best!!!! If he were a she, I might just take the puppy away from you! :jolly

It's just too bad they get big and old. If we ever get rid of our dogs someday way down the road :) I would like to get a small little lap dog, something that won't get very big at all.

Name suggestions:

Pees On Everything

Yappy

Sir Chewitup

Bite My Leg One More Time And OUCH That Does It

J/K! I'm sure he'll be a perfectly well behaved little guy. (And yep, he's a cutie! Congrats!)

LaVonne 12-07-2007 10:31 AM

My Aunt Mem had a poodle for many years...looks like the same color, they called her Peaches.

dizzyde 12-07-2007 10:33 AM

I think he is adorable! I could just snuggle up with him right now! I love the dogs that stay smaller, they always seem like they are puppies.

I have Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix 3 year old named Rufus and he rules the house! It is only my daughter and I, and he does not like men. It is hilarious, there are a few men that he never barks at, and I wonder about those men!

That's kinda what I'm hoping will happen with him...always look like a puppy. Or a teddy bear. :christmoose

We've had bigger dogs before, so I definitely wanted a lap dog. One that I can either take with me, or will not be too much trouble for someone else to doggy-sit if we have to leave him home. :santathumb

rgcraig 12-07-2007 10:44 AM

You could call him Cinna (short for cinnamon).

Is your husband a Dodge fan?
The most popular dog name in North America is Sam, Sammie or Samantha (which means "listener"). The second most popular is Max, Maxie, Maxwell or Maxine (which means "the greatest" in Latin). Third is Lady, followed by Bear, Maggie, Buddy, Tasha, Chelsea (or Chelsie), Holly and Shasta. Other very popular names are Brandy, Ginger and Taffy.

rgcraig 12-07-2007 11:09 AM

How about Kane - - - since he's sugar cane color?

I just saw Kylie - - that's cute and easy to say - - has nothing to do with his color or personality though.

Cindy 12-07-2007 11:11 AM

I like that one.:)

No, he's not a Dodge fan. It just went with our cat's name. And after watching him tear from one side of the room to the other last night, back and forth, back and forth, that particular name just might stick! :jolly

Thanks for the link Renda. That was a nice site...some sites list so many names my eyes cross! :rudolph

Kylie's kinda cute...I like names that end with the hard 'e' sound.

My son likes Teddy. :christmoose

Congrats Mrs on becoming a Mom--Again!
He is cute and when he turns a 50lb bag of dog food into a hundred pounds of fertilizer, and he is whining to go out at 1:00 in the morning while you are snuggled all cozy in bed-remember this--he's cute!:hypercoffee

I did. My daughter named her and I'm sure she didn't have a clue it was a popular name!

Carpenter 12-07-2007 11:53 AM

I asked my daughter if she would be willing to trade NOT getting ANY Christmas presents for getting a dog. She said...

ABSOLUTELY!!!

BoredOutOfMyMind 12-07-2007 11:54 AM

Call the Dog "Kitty"

:dogkiss

"We named him after the dog- "Indiana"

Ahhh, the voice of experience. Em saw this cute teeny tiny little dog that doesn't shed, that eats like a rabbit, and poops pencil erasers.

I typically don't like what my brother calls "kick" dogs but I could live with that kind of dog.

revrandy 12-07-2007 12:03 PM

I'd call him....Doodle....

Maggie is the best dog! I'm not even a dog person and I love her. She's a true lap dog - she will stand up and paw at my arm when I'm on the computer late at night because she's ready to go to bed. I'll ignore her, then she'll back up and bark at me. If I say, okay are you ready to go to bed - she'll take off running to my room and start knocking off the pillows off the bed!

She's human!!!!

Get her the puppy!!!

Esther 12-07-2007 02:02 PM

He is very cute.

I like the name Kane, Teddy, Cuddles, and Cinna that was mentioned.

You could consider Nutmeg, he is kinda that color as well.

That name's already taken! It's been my daughter's nickname since she was born! :jolly

I'm starting to lean towards Shadow now. He moves WITH your leg when you walk...as in less than an inch away!!! :rudolph
