Yall Don't Eat Too Much, You Hear.

My dearest friends and fellow Christians I'm fixing to log off,for the evening.
But I do trust you all will have a blest and happy Christmas eve and Christmas ,please don't eat too much but enjoy your family time together.
And to those who are facing trails and troubles hang in there with Jesus and He'll see through and tomorrow is a brighter day.
I've got a busy day ahead of me,at Wal-mart tomorrow.
But I love you all and have an enjoyable Christ-centered holiday and don't eat too much you hear.

At least you won't be shopping then. But that's a miserable day to work retail too. I hope you get all the cheerful customers and not so many of the other sort!

You got that right!

Scott Hutchinson 12-24-2007 11:41 AM

The store is a madhouse ,and you know a co-worker tried to stir up some junk, but hey it's all made for love ,and in a little while I'll be off the clock.
But I'm thankful that God manifested Himself in Humanity and was conceived by the Holy Ghost ,I'm thankful that the fullness of time did come and God sent forth His Son, for this is what Christmas means to me.
Yall have a good one,it's amazing to think about the wonder of wonders that Mary's child was the great creator, who became the saviour oh thank God for the shed blood of the lamb, hey I feel a shout coming on.

...and you say don't eat too much???

Will try, hope you have a wonderful Christmas!

Hesetmefree238 12-24-2007 06:58 PM

Your post came too late for me, Scott. In the last 24 hrs, I've had Ham, Swedish Meetballs, Homemade lasagna, Italian Roast Beef, BBQ, Baked Beans, Green Beans, Mexican Cornbread, Chicken n' Dressing, Very Berry Salad,
Blackberry Cobbler, and Collins Street Bakery Fruit Cake.
Tomorrow is turkey day.

Margies3 12-24-2007 08:09 PM

At Margies3's house the menu consists of:

Honeybaked Turkey (both smoked and just Honeybaked)
Garlic Mashed Potatoes with Gravy
Sweet Potatoe Casserole
Corn Casserole
Buttered Fresh Green Beans
Homemade Beer Bread
Cheese Strudel
Cheesecake
Nobake Cookies
Coffee, Tea, Water or Pop
anything my sister-in-law decides to bring

That will be AFTER we've had the egg casserole (posted in the Recipes Threads) and cinnamon rolls for breakfast.

I know gluttony is a sin. So I'll eat just a little of each thing :santathumb

AmazingGrace 12-24-2007 08:25 PM

Christmas Menu for the House of Cornelius ;)

TurDucHen
Turkey (for the normal folk who dont eat that other junk lol)
Garlic Mashed Potatoes (yall all copied me!!)
Rice Dressing
Green Bean Casserole
Candied Yams (ICK!!!)
Corn
Cornbread DRESSING
Homemade Yeast Rolls
Pumpkin Pie
Pecan Pie
Oreo Pie

We cooked extra as we are actually having 2 people over (we think*) from church who dont have family here to share Christmas with. 1 for sure

The reason we arent sure and I wanted to share this because I thought this was so neat.. Our pastor announced yesterday that he and his family had their Christmas already because on Christmas day he wanted anyone in the church who had no family here to come to their home and spend the day with them! Thought that was so nice of them seeing they have a very large family. Good to see some still remember the real meaning of the holidays :)

Trouvere 12-24-2007 11:50 PM

Have a great feast today everyone.I am staying home and sleeping as much as I can.

berkeley 12-25-2007 10:32 PM

No big shibang here. Weird meal. Very good and filling, but weird. Ham of sorts, Lasagna, baked bread, and yams. Some kind of homemade candy..

Scott Hutchinson 12-25-2007 10:34 PM

Now Berk I suppose you are going through a tribulation of heart burn, and then you shall be caught out.
