I wonder. Has any issue ever been resolved on this forum?

It seems that no matter how simple the question or issue, it just gets more complex and controversial as each one adds his/her opinion or angle to the thread. :christmaskiss

Has anyone out there ever changed their mind about any issue as a result of discussion on this board? I guess it's just the thrill of the debate.

That's OK too. BL

There is no such thing as 100% agreement.

many times....though they usually involve the issue of banning some troll...we agreed and solved it...and then we partied and drank grape juice

I'll have to say for the most part, I don't change my mind for what I beleive, however, there have been some enlightening that others have shared that have given me a better understanding. LOL! I also beleive that no one will admit that they were ever wrong while debating on this forum.

Bro-Larry 12-24-2007 04:50 PM

Though I have not "changed my mind," in that I have not altered my doctrine, I will admit it, Bro. E...I was wrong in my arrogant attitude.

So for me, much has been resolved. :star

I'm not sure I understand what you are saying sis. Have you ever been wrong in a debate? I mean, have you ever noticed that you were wrong in what you believed because of what someone else said?

I'll respond to the first part first...what I am saying is that I have not changed my mind re my doctrinal beliefs, but have changed my mind re the arrogance I harbored.

In other words, my tone has softened.

Have I been wrong in a debate...yes...

For example, on one of the earlier forums, the discussion was divorce and remarriage. I was in error re my view.

There have been some other things, but again, nothing doctrinal. :star

No. Not until now. After reading this thread, I have changed my mind and now think this is a very good thread. Not real complex... not controverisal, but I won't debate about it. Have a great Christmas and may your New Year be even greater!

You kidding.

The Tulsa 49 have turned into the "The Chronicles of Narnia ".

Nothing ends up being about what anything starts out to be.

I don't know if anyone has changed his or her mind as a result of this forum.

I don't debate or argue.
I do express opinions on the way I believe.
I hope I have not shown disrespect for the beliefs of others.

Bro. Sam,

You always have a great attitude, regardless if you are expressing your

opinion as to what you believe about something, or other! I can also say

I have never known you to be disrespectful about others beliefs!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your sweet wife!

Blessings,

Falla39
